Head Chef/Owner Richard Vongsamphanh is a Nashville Native. He was born on June 18, 1990.  Being the eldest son of 6. Chef Richard learn his Traditional Thai Culinary Skills from his parents. He loved to cook.

 

Chef Richard first start out his career at Peter's Thai & Sushi. He later moved on to P.F. Chang's and was there for a few year. The soon move to Royal Thai and later on moved to Thai Phooket. After being there for so many years Chef Richard open Simply Thai.

He still continues to come up with special dish. His favorite dish on the menu is the Steam Seafood. With a passion for cooking he makes sure every dish that comes out of Simply Thai Kitchen looks its Best with all the Authentic Thai ingredients.
